    I hope was excellent the waiters was extremely funny and interacted with our children made it a great experience food was awesome

    The service is really slow even when it's empty. I sat in my booth and felt crumbs on the seat. Down right terrible service. Sucks that this is the only ihop near campus.

    I flew into Lubbock late and after checking in it was 10:00pm. So 24/7 sounded good. Got in and the poor waitress was doing it all by herself along with just one cook, maybe about 25 head count. She was very nice the sweet tea was STRONG, they don't really know how to make good southern sweet tea. Coffee was drinkable. For pancakes and chicken fingers it took way too long but it was worth it. It might seem like a dive but the food was excellent!!

    The 3 of us have been waiting now for 41 min and only have drinks to show for it. I understand that restaurants get busy and service is sometimes slow when they are filled with patrons...that's not the case tonight. Tables/booths are maybe 1/3 full and the service is atrocious!! Waited 13 min before anyone even asked for our drink order. Factor in the ripped seats in the first booth they tried to seat us in and this is by far THE worst IHOP experience I've ever had the displeasure of enduring. I'm riding it out at this point solely based on the fact that it's late in the evening and I've already invested this much time.

    I get the low ratings here because I've been here a few times when it is busy and service takes awhile. But i enjoy coming to IHOP because I know what I'm getting and it's usually filling with average prices. The staff have always been friendly, even in times when the service is slow.
